Every damn monster that has the ability to charm/confuse/stun, that way if you're playing solo you're practically screwed ! Everyone agrees to that i guess.

And yet I find them to be so. As I mentioned before, they have very little HP. Strike fast and they fall easily. The thing is, many people tend not to focus their attacks, especially when encountering several Greater Wolfweres. This is their downfall. It takes about 1-2 rounds for any of my parties to take down one of them.

Mages can summon Skeleton Warriors as well. Not to mention spiders. Then there is Melf's Minute Meteors.

Monsters usually target the first thing the see. Save a few special bosses, most monsters stay on their first target. If you send in your tanks and summons first, they will be targeted, not your spellcasters.

If you have trouble arranging people around during the battle, use the pause function.

ADD>>> To relate my experience with Greater Wolfweres, the first time I met them in the Windspear Hills' dungeons, I managed to kill them on my first try... within a turn or so for the whole pack if I recall correctly. Easiest 15,000 EXP ever... ...

Sadly, that's true. This is way i try to promote the Sola Mod - the AI is SOOOO MUCH BETTER... It makes the game much more interesting...

My tactics for Greater Wolfweres is hitting them with the Celestial Fury.
I always try to get it early anyway...
The biggest problem with Greater Wolfweres is their insane regeneration rate...
BUT! The stunnning effect of the CF stops the regeneration!! Once they are stunned, they are dead. Works great for me.

I loathe gauths, beholders and mind flayers. Death spell works increadibly well on mind flayers though. ^_____^ hehe... Beholders are easy alone, but they're usually with lots of gauths and other beholders. This equals a big pain in the butt. I hate gauths. Even alone.

Beholders
Illithids(Mind Flayers)
UmberHulks before I get the death spell
Irenicus(How many time do u have to kill him!)
Dragons arn't too bad. Just use magic missiles and holy smite and they die really quickly.
I don't like that really powerful lich guy. Never beaten him.
