Enough protests to this thread being found on GenCon both on this thread and in Report Post e-mail has proven that this thread needs to be moved and probably should have already been moved to the CE forum.
I am deleting the existance of it on GenCon and this debate can continue in CE. |

This is the 2nd election that the Democrats have lets us down in my opinion. I don't like Bush at all. His demeanor is not that of my image of a president. I don't like the fact he can't finish the war in Afghanistan first before taking on Iraq. He is forcing soldiers to remain in the service beyond their term and calling up those that have been discharged as long as 13 years. All this proves he has overextended the military's ability.
The Dems need to find an agenda and stick with it. The last 2 candidates were less than worthy of running. Heck Gore couldn't even carry his own state of Kentucky. Massachusetts doesn't have a good track record of electable candidates since Kennedy. I think Clinton could have won this election easily were he able to run or had the interest. He was asked to invade Iraq and refused to do so. I think it was a smart choice. As morally bankrupt as he was he is the most educated president we have had in sometime. He would have carried the Black vote which Kerry did not do. Kerry couldn't even get the youth vote to help him out. I can't imagine how a Senator with his track record of voting could have ever thought he could get elected as president. While I don't support the invasion of Iraq I do support the soldiers that are fighting there. When troops returned home from Vietnam they were spit upon and called baby killers. These poor guys were given no respect for the most part. Vietnam was another place we had no business fighting in. Our duty is to protect our shores. We haven't had to do that since the Japanese bombed Pearl harbor. What is it about our country that we can't just live in peace? Canada doesn't seem to have this problem. When was the last time you heard of Mexico invading another country? I know it is funny just to think of that happening. But why are we always sticking our nose into other countries business? That is why we have the United Nations Organization. Any fighting should be done with coalitions instead of always us sending our troops into battle alone to die. Anyway these are just my thoughts on yet another lousy election. One day I would like to see 2 really qualified candidates fight it out to be president. The last time I did was Nixon/Kennedy. Now that was a good election. Quote:
