I took out a dragon with a 10-11 level party without any difficulty.

The Ruby Rays were not needed - Breach ignores spell protections anyway.

Except things like Spell Turning, Spell Deflection and Spell Immunity....possibly others.

NOthing in BG2, ToB or anygame you care to name is a serious threat. They have to think to get past the tactics of someone as good as me.

And anything going up against the likes of dundee is pretty much gonna die instantly, intelligent or not.

Except things like Spell Turning, Spell Deflection and Spell Immunity....possibly others.
Possibly spell immunity: abjuration (not sure), but the others it just ignores, ignore magic resistance as well. Breach is for dispelling COMBAT protections, protections that stop WEAPONS. Use spellstrike/ruby ray for SPELL protections, protections that stop SPELLS. They are mutually exclusive (except mirror image, but we're not talking about that ) you cannot stop a spell with a COMBAT protection, and you cannot stop a weapon with a SPELL protection. Also, spells that lower SPELL protections are not affected by stoneskin/protection form magical weapons ect...

Breach will completely ignore all spell defences (other than spell shield) and dispell ONLY the target's COMBAT protections.

Ruby Ray absorbs Spell Trap, Spell Turning, Spell deflection; Breach is resisted in the relevant manner by all three.

Slight correction: it will dispel combat protections, but is still resisted by most spell protections.
I put three in my post above as examples, there are also more that it is resisted by.

I second that statement
I have a small feeling that Dundee plays chess, and is quite good at it... he definately has that type of mind
