1a) A wee wee man in a red coat.
Staff in my hand, stone in my throat.
What am I?

I was thinking a cherry at first, but the're not very red.

2a) I am strongest when you see me as round, but I am often viewed in
other forms. I lift & drop the sea with my tremendous strength,
and a man with a name like 'powerful bicep' was the first to
tread on me.
What am I?

One suspects that we are talking the Arctic or Antarctic circle here - the ice raising and lowering the level of the sea, powerful bicep - muscle, Russell, no idea beyond that.

3a) I am a rock group that has 4 members, all of whom are dead, one
of which was assasinated. What am I?

The Beatles - in 30 years time

4a) The answer I give is yes, but what I mean is no.
What was the question?

I suppose a dance is out of the question then?

5a) "There was a green house.
Inside the green house there was a white house
Inside the white house there was a red house.
Inside the red house there were lots of babies."
What is the name for this house?

Sounds like a green apple with a worm in it - of course it could be something else.

6a) What work is it that the faster you work, the longer it is before
you're done, and the slower you work, the sooner you're finished?

Winding something onto a roll - ie winching a boat out of water - goes faster when the radius is smallest, but you have the furtherest to go.

7a) Whoever makes it, tells it not. Whoever takes it, knows it not.
And whoever knows it wants it not.

Pride or arrogance seem a reasonable fit

8a) I am always hungry,
I must always be fed,
The finger I lick
Will soon turn red.

Fire

9a) Glittering points
That downward thrust,
Sparkling spears
That never rust.

Stalactites

10a)Three lives have I.
Gentle enough to soothe the skin,
Light enough to caress the sky,
Hard enough to crack rocks.

The sun

2a - keep trying - You'll kick yourself when you get it
3a - close but think outside the square
4a - this works so I'll give it , my answer was "Do you mind?"
5a - keep thinking fruit
6a - uhhhhh not quite
7a - sorry no (good guess though), it's something you can touch.
8a - Correct!
9a - Or icicles, good stuff!
10a- Try again dude

I was struggling on the green white red babies, but then I realised it's a WATERMELON .

Oh, and while 6a is not the answer you want, I do point out that it still fits perfectly.

YAY Aelia!
You got number two and that number 7 one may fit the riddle *sort of* but it's not what I'm thinking. You can see it quite clearly and can touch it if you want to!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while again, I have just got back from a 12 roleplay session at a friends house. It is now 4:45 in the morning and I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Daveros Here is my attempt, but I am far too tired to give them any serious thought.

1. A cherry.
5. Water Melon
8. Fire
9. Icicle
