Although, the person who has been in my party the less is Jan so far, because he keeps dying on me and I don't like switching their favorite armor/weapons.

Due to schoolwork i have had little time to develope the blossoming romance between Anomen and Anomette. I am annoyed about this.

I start to find Anomen totally ok. Sure, he's arrogant, but just finish his quest ASAP, and he shuts up alright! His usefulnes as a Fighter/Cleric becomes very handy at times, especially when reaching ToB. His improved Wisdom is good for my party, currently a Neutral Good Berserker, Anomen, and Tashia. I hate to say it, but he is soon to be on my favourite NPCs-list. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Hehe, he's always been on my favorites. Tha's not saying much though because all of the NPC's are my favorites, but he's near the top of the list.

Seriously, Sola's a much more respectful option than Anomen, but... he gets melodramatic about summoning monsters. I think getting melodramatic about your father abusing you for years is actually a far more justified form of whining.

And no, Sola doesn't kick Anomen's ass. Solaufein ignores both gender and other romances, although Jason added a Sola/Kelsey conflict to the Kelsey mod.

As to who would be a good romance option... ugh, god, ANYBODY other than Haer'Dalis. What an utter soulless sick freak bastard... and he is about as eloquent as a fruitfly. He's like Garrick, only worse. He has a 'pleasant' shell, and no heart underneath... look at what he does to Aerie. Whiner though she is, she never deserved that; she's a nice girl. (And as Kish once pointed out, she was kept in a cage like an animal until two of her limbs rotted off and she nearly died, and she was a slave... she kind of has a reason or two to whine. How would you feel if you lost your legs or arms? It may not seem equivalent to you, but that's only because it's harder to miss what you've never had. If everyone had wings, and you lost yours, and were confined to the ground forever...)

Kelsey has his flaws, but I've found him to be my favorite romance NPC so far, with Anomen as a close second (despite his assness, Anomen is sympathetic if you look beneath the surface... I guess that's why Haer'Dalis-lovers upset me; I cringe for the kind of girl that only sees a man's outside... what kind of a husband will they end up with? Awful thought.) Well, Kelsey isn't as wild as some of the others, but he is unendingly respectful of and almost in awe of the PC's ability to lead. He's the kind of man any sensible woman would love to have supporting her, as a friend if not a lover. He's friendly and caring and though he suffers a bit, he ~talks~ to the PC instead of ~whining~ or ~moaning~ to her. He confides in her and comes to care for her as a person, and he actually mentions love a little while BEFORE trying to jump into the sack with her. So, personally, I would recommend him over any other. Do download Solaufein to see if you like him, though--nearly everything's worth a look, as everyone has different tastes.
