Hi, I was wondering if the gem has any special properties, or if I should just sell it...any advice is appreciated! Thanx!

Just a personal preference, but I wasn't impressed with the Horn of Valhalla. I used it against the party in the sewers (before the Cult of the Unseeing Eye) and the beserker was pretty useless.
The best you can do with the Horn is summon 1 12th level fighter that doesn't stay around very long. I like the Monster and Elemental summonings much better. Still, the choice is yours. An extra beserker could give you that necessary edge in a critical battle - especially against a mage.

Are you suggesting that a 12th level beserker at no more cost than a puff of wind is worse than no beserker at all? Keep the jewel and have an extra fighter every day to keep the doctor away

The only time I've ever used it (and probably ever will) is for flak, specifically against kangaxx so I would keep him away from imprisoning my characters
