A few mysterious items purposes in the game {*spoilers*)

Kaelas is thinking of another wizard encounter in Chapter 5. Thalantyr's great treasure is the magic items he sells. If you kill him, you don't get much. (Maybe a piddly mage robe and a nonmagical staff.) I think he also goes hostile if he sees you kill the flesh golems, but as you've done so already and nothing bad has happened, I don't think he will.

The lightning in the center's just for decoration.

I've been unable to recruit Shar-Teel before because I didn't have a male to challenge her. It would be very nice if the result of not having a male wasn't "Nobody can accept the challenge", but "There are no men here, as you can see."

Somehow I think she might be inclined to travel with such a group, duels be damned.

1. As everyone else said...keep it on your main character if you're importing your character to BG2.

2. Sell it for money. It's just for a little fun

3. You can find this note in Durlag's Tower. So far, I haven't found out what it's refering too.

4. It changes your gender. You can do some evil things with this 1 [img]tongue.gif[/img]

5. Don't kill that powerful mage (Thalantyr). He sells very valuable magical items.
