I'd mentioned before that someone had purchased rapper Eminem's 1300 square foot childhood home and posted it on eBay. The value of the house is reported as 91K, but the bid is now over 12 million dollars!?!?!?!?!?
A second home(5,000 square foot) Eminem bought after he started "making it", is also on eBay with a current bid of 800K.

Why would anyone pay for a celebrity's house way above market price? 12 Million is absurd. Still, its their money and if they're silly enough to buy it, then its their business I suppose. Maybe its the novelty factor or maybe its just insanity.
I can imagine the house-warming party though. New Houseowner: "Behold my friends, this is the actual toilet seat Eminem sat on!" Party Guests: "Oooooh!!!"

And here, my friends, is the storage area where Eminem first got the idea for his hit "Cleaning Out My Closet".

One of his cars - a Mustang - sold several months ago. Some boomer richie bought it for his 13 yr old daughter. Access Hollywood or some other such gossip drivel show showed the (too-young-to-drive) girl with three of her friends sitting in it listening to Em's raps.
Not dissin' Em - who I think is really talented. Just saying - WHAT LOSERS!!!! |

When I saw this thread I thought it said enema not eminem. But that's not surprising as I think as highly of them as I do of his music
