Re: Cloudy's Cafe, a conversation zone, Feb 10, 2009
Things have started to clear up. I spoke to a friend who knows me and the other guy (okay, I got pretty drunk with him) and when I got home this morning I had an email from my boyfriend. The thought that I am going to hurt the other guy upsets me, but this email... It broke my heart. It made me realise just how much I care about him. And I hate that it has taken me this long.
So I think I've made my choice. And I think I have made it fro the right reasons. Not because I'm scared of the consequences or change, but because I can't bear to leave someone I care so much about.

So, you're sticking with the current guy, right?

Yeah, I'm sticking with my boyfriend of 2 and a bit years.
The other guy did not take it well. He doesn't think my boyfriend is right for me. But I think he is. And I think I can be happy. I came home, washed a plate, made myself a hot drink and cooked some food for the first time in a week. I think I'll be okay. I don't know if the other guy will be okay with me. I hope so, or I will have lost a good friend. But Rob (who was helping both of us) says he would help us deal with whatever happened afterwards. As far as I am concerned, I made the right choice.

I concur, DS. For whatever that's worth.
And for the record, *you* are the one who decides what boyfriend is right for you :sternstare:

Woohoo! Finished up my third book, just in time for one of the two peak selling seasons of the year! Life is much, much better... Now, to rest for a few... and then get working on the next one...

Re: Cloudy's Cafe, a conversation zone, Feb 10, 2009
Update - The second guy (not my boyfriend) keeps coming back and argueing his case. Although he is starting to trail off now and accept that I just want to be friends... It is not going as smoothly as I thought. But.
Anyway, evening all.

Kick 'em in the nads and tell him he can be a friend, or stay out of your life; and to stop being a cry baby.

I'll give you the opposite response from Variol... let him get the rest of it out of his system. Sounds like he's most of the way there already.
Just remember... he'll try anything to get you to come over to his way of thinking. Including wearing a pink tutu with fuzzy rabbit slippers and a superman cape, if he thinks that will do it. So just imagine him in that, laugh, and let him be. Even though you could probably get blackmail money once you had pictures of him in all that stuff
