Re: Got a question...
I only posted my opinion because I saw an opportunity to use the term "smut cornacopia" in a post and just couldn't resist.
Seriously, *B* I'm sure you'll do what you think is right and it probably is. Communication is rarely a bad thing amongst reasonable people. I'm just not that suprised or concerned a twelve year old is dabbling in style of humor which often described as "juvenile".

Re: Got a question...
LOL! "Smut cornucopia" is definitely the phrase of the day!
I'm not overly surprised or concerned either. I do, however, remember just how reliable some of the sources of information were back then. Hustler isn't exactly known for reliable information Like I said, I view it as a teaching opportunity for my kids. A chance for them to realize the world is out there, and to understand how what they do affects it (and can turn around and affect them, too!). We'll see....

Re: Got a question...
Tell them via e-mail, with a link. Then his dad can say he happened to see it. Problem solved for the most part, unless his dad doesn't care, in which case he will probably let you know. As for restricting your child, I'm not so sure. As you said, they will eventually have to deal with the world, and it's not always roses and sunshine.

Re: Got a question...
email was a choice in the poll. I do think that that is the best way.
