Just finished reading the brand new trilogy "The Erevis Cale Trilogy, Book 1" by Paul S. Kemp, and I gotta say, this was probably ranked in my most favorite top 10.

The Book is FULL of action, and really uses a LOT of 3rd Ed rules, and the group of good guys are very memorable, and funny as hell to.

You got the 'Dark past' good guy
The Former Harper Halfling now Thief
And an ex Zhent hardcore rogue

Seriously. If you're into FR Novels, READ THIS!!

Ohh, I am interested in any Zhent activity in books. Are there any run-ins with Zhents?

Yep! And they are in NWN and can be summoned. In this book, they are shapechangers as well.. odd.

I am surprised that no one else has replied to this.. I guess no one is into Forgotten Realms novels??

I get depressed whenever you post about these new FR releases, Z, because it usually takes 6 months before they appear here in OZ. For example, I'm STILL waiting for Windwalker to get here - I think it came out in the US a year ago!!

On the plus side, we've finally had Condemnation come out here - but seeing as I couldn't wait for that one, I got my sis to buy it when she went to New York a few months ago.

Thats not right... don't FR books usually come out in Australia around the same time they hit Europe?

<font color=skyblue>I am trying Ziroc! You actually have inspired me to start reading all those books again that I stopped doing so long ago, though I never stopped buying them. I have half the collection to read! I am starting in Chronological order, so it'll take me a while to catch up!

Remember to read 'Escape from Undermountain' The Novel, as a lot of things in the Mod of the same name are also in the Novel
