Lowering saves

How many ways are there to lower your saves - (including item upgrade mod):

Here are my ideas:

- Potion of invulnerability (+5)
- Improved invisibility (+4) (Mislead also ?)
- Spirit Armor (+3)

Best items:

- Human Flesh Armor (+5)
- Amulet of Ilmater (+3)
- Ring of Gaxx (+2)
- RoP +2 (+2)
- Foebane +5 (+1)

So, what did I forget ?

Ring of Earth Control
Ring of Protection +3
Helm of Balduran
Cloak of Montilo (sp?)
The Claw of Kazgaroth (spells breath wand)
Cloak of Displacement (death breath wand)
Belt of Interial Barrier (breath only)

Note spirit armour grants a +3 bonus to saves vs spells only

Oh, yes !

I'll try to find the stats myself but can you also give the amount of save lowering ?

like

Cloak of Displacement (death breath wand +4)
Belt of Inertial Barrier (breath +5)
Helm of Balduran (+1)

I'm trying to make a list of all items.

Human Flesh Armor gives a +4 bonus to saves, not +5.

Don't overlook Potions of Magic Shielding (or is it Magic Blocking? Something along these lines), which gives a +20 (!) bonus.

Being a Dwarf / Halfling / Gnome with 18 CON gives +5 save vs. spells and +5 save vs. death (wands if you're a gnome).

I think Dwarves recieve the save vs wands bonus too.

The ring of Earth Control (or elemental mastery with IUM) provides a +1 bonus.

The Claw of Kazgaroth provides +3 to saves vs spells, breath and wands, but has a -4 penalty to death saves.

The Cloak of Displacement provides a +2 bonus to death, breath and wand

Other items:
Skin of the Ghoul, +3 saves vs death
Helm of Defence, +1 Bonus
Taking the Good Path for the Greed (?) test in the Nine Hells provides a +2 bonus

Of course they do. My bad.

To clarify: With 18 CON, Dwarves and Halflings get +5 save vs. spells, death and wands. Gnomes get +5 save vs. spells and wands.

It's Potion of Magic Shielding alright.

Blur gives a +1 Saves bonus, as does the Cloak of Balduran.

what then hell have I been doing!? Not posting here very often, that's for sure! I think I must be *the* member that's taking the longest time to reach Emerald Dragon. Oh well, at least I get to have the good ED avatar

Now, was it the Shield of the Lost or the Darksteel Shield that also granted Save bonuses? I always get those two mixed up.

Knave's / Adventurer's / Traveler's Robes all give +1 bonus to 1 Save
Archmagi Robes give +1 bonus to all 5 Saves
Helm of Defense gives +1 to all 5
