anybody else notice that when you change the game resolution nothing actually changes graphically, its exactly the same....... is it just me or is everbody else having the same thing/problem?

Same thing here. I fooled around with some other sizes; didn't see that the pics improved any. So I just stayed with 640x480, which is fine.

going from 800x600 to 1024x768 did make a difference. i saw fewer jagged edges and objects/people in the distance were clearer. of course, it might depend on what Graphics API you chose when you first setup Wiz8. I went with opengl since, for some reason, running in directx6 or 7 causes wiz8 to run very slow.

I've found that the resolution in this game is more to keep "aligned" with the resolution you use for your desktop. Granted I haven't tried the higher ones, but I can't tell the difference in 8 x 6 and 6 x 4

on my Windows 2000 machine, OpenGL is Butt-slow... I have to use DirectX7 to get faster. That must be how my video card works.

The resolution while using directX is how sharp the picture is... on 640X480 with DirectX7, everything was very blurry.
