Has anyone noticed how travelling between two locations on the world map take different times depending on the direction of travel?
For instance (if my memory serves) from Athkatla to Nalia's keep it takes 16 or 20 or 24 hours (can't remember exact number) but moving from Nalia's keep back to the city takes only 8! |

There must be a change in elevation as you head down to the sea and thus Athlanka. Therefore, it takes longer to walk uphill toward Nalia's keep, and travel times are quicker returning to the city.

Maybe there's a prevailing wind from the North...hence the slowness heading into it!
