Ah, but there could be BASEMENT stairs. They would be red in that case, or there is NO stars

Hey, noone ever said that the stairs were in the house at all! They could be in another house in the vilage!

Exactly. On top of that, your riddle seems to contain false information. I for one can assure you that there are at least two villages with only one single-story house. This may not have always been the case, I'm sure there was only one at a certaion point in history (maybe several points) but nowadays that's no longer true... [img]tongue.gif[/img]
If we cannot trust the data about the number of villages, who knows if the talk of red milk or stairs is truthful?
