My house is finally networked and I'm wondering what are good games for playing with one or two other people on a network (local)?

That depends on what your interrests are Cloudy. I take it you don't like running around with a rifle and shoot Nazi's ? If you do, Battlefield 1942 would be a good option.

Dialbo 2 is lots of fun multiplayer (more fun than any of the other RPG-ish games I've played), there's TONS of FPS games, and some of the RTS games are fun for head to head or cooperative play (Warcraft III, Hegemonia, etc...). Neverwinter Nights might not suck if you can find some decent modules (maybe the new add on).
Oh yea... don't forget those racing games... Microsoft Motocross Madness 2 is a riot, the NFS series is pretty good, Microsoft Rallysport Challenge is very fun. [ 08-05-2003, 04:04 PM: Message edited by: Thoran ] |

Although I can't think of any example at the moment, combat simulations should be fun for LAN. There is nothing more fun than the feel of gunning down your friends and watching them go down in flames.
[Edited] Ooooooh... I just remebered a fine space sims for LAN--Freelancer!! [ 08-05-2003, 04:21 PM: Message edited by: Paladin2000 ]
