Warning very minor Throne of Bhaal spoiler.
* * * Does anyone has points in Bastard swords? Im thinking of it though i only know of one good bastard sword(the one in the drow city). I have heard however that ther´ll be a kick-ass bastard sword in TOB (+5, +6 versus demons and undead). So should i specialize in BS and where can i find a good one? NOOOO!!!!! dont speciliase in Bastared swords, you cant even get a +2 one before the underdark. ANd even then the only two you gwt in the underdark are +2 & +3.

If you want to specialise in a sword, go for the two handed and two handed weapon style specialisations. In the right hands, the +4, +5 versions are extremely potent.

Definitely. Several powerful two-handed swords are available almost right at the start of the game - The Sword of Chaos, Lilarcor...

Or, you could just play with whatever weapon you like and not play for just the most powerful everything. If you have a fighter, it would difficult but not impossible to play with the few bastard swords in the game, but I think you should pick a weapon on what you think instead of what'll give the most damage.
