Pimlico weirdness (spoil)

Got Korgan, went on in southern tomb, did traps, secret door, yada yada, Korgan said his bit about the tomb and we have to hoof it to Pimlico's. Go there. Korgan said his bit about too late and watch out for bad guys who might still be there. Nothing weird, right?

Here's where the weirdness starts. The door is locked, and when Jan tries to pick it, we hear a voice saying that Pimlico won't see strangers. Tried bouncing around town a while, going back into the tomb, and have the party do laps in the correct room, and even tried sleeping. Nothing doing. Apparently I did not get some flag set that I have been to the tomb. I know there is not much to Shagbag other than some wandering experience, but I was kind of looking forward to taking him down anyway. I hate having unfinished quests in my journal.

Any suggestions?

I have the same bug over and over again, wich mods do you have installed?

Have you checked where you finish the quest? i dont wanna spoil but you can check here.. see if it moves on.

Good call. They were, in fact, up there. Unfortunately, it still shows up as an unfinished quest. I imagine because Korgan wasn't able to say his bit about where his former companions were likely kicking back a few. Saved and reloaded a couple times, letting the main character roll the bods, and letting Korgan roll the bods, having every character look at the book, etc. Just couldn't get him to say his bit after the battle.

Still unfinished...

The same can happen even in a plain vanilla SoA. Some possibilities:
1. You seems to have to enter Pimlico house before you return to the Slums. Or you have to travel there directly from the Graveyard?
2. Perhaps, the Pimlico house is timed (??) If you arrive too late, the house is locked?
At any rate, you are losing nothing if you fail to enter the house. Some money, not a remarkable amount, that's all. IIRC, entering the house is not necessary for finishing the quest, you can continue to Shagbag from a locked house as well. As far as your questbook is concerned, you will always end with "unfinished" quests in it. This can't be fixed.

Strange - I have always completed by kicking shag bag and scrolloose' butt - then I just sold the book....

I had this problem a while ago. I think it was a problem with my Dialog.TLK or something like that, I don't know. I backed up the game, reinstalled, and the door was unlocked and Korgan growled his bit.

If you have gotten the quest exp and just want it out of your journal, you can Make a entry in your finish quests section saying how you did it, then delete it from the quests section. sometimes you have to do that when it gliches.
