WELCOME TO THE FORUM
you need to go into the Options area during game play and change the settings that in the same area you go when you want to save a game or quit the game or you need to down load the patch for TotSC from URL below_____________________________________________ _____________ http://www.bioware.com/games/tales_s...pport/patches/ then download --- TOSC Canada and US patch --- and you may need TOSC DirectX 8 English patch

Yikes! Turadan ... i just noticed that you are from Austria. Please make sure that you download the patch for the appropriate language version of IWD/HOW! Using a patch for the US version on a German version could SERIOUSLY mess up your files! There are three versions of the TOTSC patches that I am aware of: US, UK and International. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT ONE!!!!
