It's called evil. Evil would want to attack the Red Cross, just as evil would want to destroy water supplies. It has a name. Evil.

The attack is on all forigners and locals that coorperate with the occupation forces. The forigners (red cross) coorperate with the Americans and the local (policemen) are collaberators/traitors.
Or I suspect that is the 'logic' behind the attacks.

Sure they know that they would help them in dire circumstances, but that matters little when they would stoop to help something as detestable as the occupation forces. And yes, I do also think that this kind of reasoning is evil.

Great image Timber (a tad too Americanized though ). But I disagree with your first post. The concept evil is too subjective to use.
Targetting the red cross is terrible! They have nothing to gain instead they are helping to kill their "own" people. Makes me wonder who really is responsible for the attacks. [ 10-27-2003, 02:00 PM: Message edited by: WillowIX ]

Targeting the Red Cross and kids with suicide bombs is objectively evil. Erm... wrong smiley, I meant this one.
I quote the great warrior, who said "The Middle East is always teeming with evil and decay. Let's give it a good shake, and see what falls out." Or, something like that. [ 10-27-2003, 02:11 PM: Message edited by: Timber Loftis ] |

Good and Evil are relative terms based upon individual perspectives.
Because of this, they will never hold the same meaning for different people. |

Of course. I've read my Nietszche. From my subjective viewpoint, however, it's evil. I should note that, harkening back to Nietszche and his examples, suicide bombers would also be evil under either a Master Morality or Slave Morality system. On the one hand they are cruel. On the other they are weak cowards.
Perhaps this is true for other good/evil dichotomies. Perhaps these fellas are evil under any moral system. |
