Can you answer them all?
(SoA#1)Why is it a cleric can use a great and powerful weapon like Crom Faeyr but can't use a butterknife? (SoA#2)Why is it that a Dragon Slayer has the hardest time of his group slaying a dragon? (SoA#3)Is Irenicus really a true sorcerer? The way he battled the demons in the end, he's kinda pumped to be a wizard. Could he be a ...monk? (ToB#1)Bhaal had all of these children, but how did he sleep with a dragon? (ToB#2)Wouldn't a character truly be considered to be god-like to defeat a monster like Demogorgon that not even Helm could vanquish? (ToB#3)What really determines the outcome of a battle like at the end of ToB? Muscule or Strategy? (Melissan, Irenicus/Bodhi and the Five) (*Bonus*) Are drow really evil, or do they act as they do out of fear of Lolth? To be continued... My opionins, some big spoilers ahead. proceed at your own risk
(SoA#1)Why is it a cleric can use a great and powerful weapon like Crom Faeyr but can't use a butterknife? this is based on medieval norms for religous warriors. they aren't supposed to cause bloodshed. apperently they are allowed to smash people though. (SoA#2)Why is it that a Dragon Slayer has the hardest time of his group slaying a dragon? Not exactly what your asking here, what battle (SoA#3)Is Irenicus really a true sorcerer? The way he battled the demons in the end, he's kinda pumped to be a wizard. Could he be a ...monk? seems to me, Irencus is a little bit of a freak. He was also an elf. He could bulk up and train in some warrior skills. He had lost his magical ability at the end. and had to go hand to hand (ToB#1)Bhaal had all of these children, but how did he sleep with a dragon?Cause he's a god. Gods can do whatever they want. that's why they're gods. (ToB#2)Wouldn't a character truly be considered to be god-like to defeat a monster like Demogorgon that not even Helm could vanquish? Helm didn't want to vanquish him(it). by trapping the demogorgon in the tower he can't do to much damgage. (ToB#3)What really determines the outcome of a battle like at the end of ToB? Muscule or Strategy? depends. if you level up enough you can muscle thtough any battle. or not enough not all the stragey in the world will save you. gotta be a combination (*Bonus*) Are drow really evil, or do they act as they do out of fear of Lolth?drow society breeds evil. it's designed to reward the evil drow, a good one comes along they get killed, or escape. Viconia would have been killed if not for her brother for not scarficing a baby(i think)

1. They`re afraid of sharp things - "AHHHH!!! SCISSORS !!!"
2. Very big head full of hot air - dragon and slayer both... 3. Why can a sorcerer not be physically strong ?? A *mage* studies constantly and doesn`t do much excercise, but a Sorcerer gets their spells naturally - Joneleth might just go to the gym every Thursday. TOB1 - Gods have different avatar forms. They do not have to be humanoid. One of bhaal`s avatars may have been a dragon. Last I checked, a dragon should be able to sleep with a dragon... TOB2 - Who would believe you ?? TOB3 - Strategy. You have to be able to use your character(s) effectively. In a mostly Fighter-Class party, don`t realy heavily on magic. In a full party a Sorcerers, it might be a bad idea to go melee... Bonus - They worship a goddess who commands hatred and orders them to murder. To please Llolth is to do evil. The drow to not have to worship Llolth, they could worship helm if they realy wanted. Therefore, they willingly go against what is right, and constantly do so. *That* is evil. |

ToB #1
Bhaal's godly powers probably included shapechanging. He probably shapechanged to a dragon, a fire giant and a drow when needed. Heck, even breeding successfully with a human without killing the mother instantly would probably require some kind of shapechanging. ToB #2 You don't defeat Demogorgon. You only manage to banish him home where he belongs. That was the reason why the Helmites would prefer that you imprisoned him instead of killing him. As long as his material form was imprisoned in Watchers Keep Demogorgon would be unable to roam the material planes. His REAL form down in the Abyss is totally well and OK, albeit a bit pissed.

(TOB 1) Bhall could have been in human form as dragons can take human form as well

Is Irenicus really a true sorceror? No. He is a mage. How does a mage look so buffed? I really don't know. Most of your NPCs are stronger than Irenicus and yet none look half as tough. What i do know is that no self respecting god-spawn or his/her rag tags would piss themselves at the sight of a skinny weed with arms folded in that stance. Maybe whatever he took to become a foot taller than any other elf also gave him some brawn.
Are Drow really evil? As a society they worship Lolth which, in general, makes them evil. There are a number of drow who secretly despise or openly renounce their ties to Lolth (Viconia, Drizzt, Solafein) which suggests that the drow worship out of fear and not love (which is also exactly as Lolth would have it). However, alignment is not solely determined by who you worship and even the non-Lolth drow have clearly evil intentions. IMO, it's an environmental rather than a racial trait. To survive in the underdark... The 8th Great Wonder of Amn: Just who the hell are the council of six anyway? I want names people!

The whole concept with the Council of Six is that you do not know their names.
It was decided that the sitting council should always be unknown. Thus the Council will not be susceptible to bribes or threats.

Great Wondered Questions of Baldur's Gate [ADD] Extreme SoA & ToB Spoilers Continued...
(SoA#A1) For any class, is there is naturally attainable abilities to defend against the mind flayers intelligence drain? (Naturally, not brine potion or greenstone amulets) (SoA#A2)Why is it all of the members of the Noble Order of the Most Radiant Heart are human? (SoA#A3)In the new game extension called The Darkest Day, why can't any of the new classes obtain the same abilities that their counterparts do. For example, a Dragon Slayer or a Blademaster cannot obtain the whirlwind attack. Why is this? (ToB#A1)Is it really worth it fighting Demogorgon considering that he has no items when you beat him? Plus you still gain the same amount of experience when you just seal all the ruins in Watcher's Keep? (ToB#A2)In the end of the game when Imoen becomes the slayer, do you *have* to kill her, or can you restore her? |

Apparently they are/were: Erlranther Alibakkar Phaan Colwyvv Qar Jysstev Rhinnom Dannihyr Tyrda Q'Helvor Pehllus Tanislove So there you go ^_^ Nasty bunch actually, four of them are some flavour of evil. |
