Restore Health works most of the time for disease but there is at least one little green face that can't be cured that way. I cast restore health 3 times but no good. The latest one I got in Skull Castle. Had to restore a game. Maybe I was cursed, got VD or something else but I didn't want to go all the way back to a city. Don't assume disease is cureable before saving!

Is there a spell or potion that cures wasting disease? I know you can cure it at a temple, but that's a long trip. I've read in these postings that that losses from wasting disease aren't permanent, but I just cured someone at the temple and I don't think he got his old stats back!

I believe the spirit spell 'Restore Health' removes disease, check the manual.

There is a 5th or 6th level vine spell called "Cure". I think will cure disease. At least according to the manual. I haven't tried it yet.
