I just have to tell you about the cd writer I got yesterday, I think I found the perfect one, for 2 years I had a piece of crap that almost always
ruined the cd's with a BURN error and if it didn't it took 30 to 40 minutes to write the cd... so yesterday I went and bought a new one, I got Plextor 48/24/48 and [img]graemlins/wow.gif[/img] I tried writing some cd's and not only does this awesome thing have a Burn-proof thingy so there are no more Burn errors, but it actually took it jus 3 minutes to write the cd! When it was done I just sat in stunned silence... [img]smile.gif[/img] Definetly worth it... [img]smile.gif[/img] |

My old Sony 16X/10X/40X seems to work quite well so far and I am quite happy with it. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Burn errors are usualy caused by cheap media or the drive being setup wrongly, generaly by being put on the same channel as the drive its copying from, rather than the drive itself being incapable of doing the burn.
