THE GAEL SERRAN EXAMINER
Sazerac, Editor Contribution Photojournalists: Carg, Balgin SPECIAL SCIENCE EDITION: Reality is Unraveling in the Gael Serran Recent photos captured by adventurers around the Gael Serran have scholars, wizards, and other masters of Incunabula mystified. Gaping holes in the fabric of the reality of this world are blatantly apparent. To date, no one has been able to explain the mysterious phenomena shown in these pictures, although several crews of mages and warlocks have been dispatched by the various guilds to study these particular "rifts." The first picture, taken by a couple of intrepid adventurers exploring the top of the Serpent Temple just south of Ishad N'ha, reveals the first amazing and alarming discovery. Apparently, the river caves leading into the back of the Temple are more than just hollow...they are nonexistant! Despite all evidence to the contrary from beneath, from above one can clearly see that no mountainous caverns exist. Not only that, but there is a severe rift between the river and the land; rising up and beyond the horizon. Upon this discovery, teams of scholars and mages have journeyed to the now-defunct Temple to find more evidence of this paradox. Apparently it isn't just an optical illusion. Already theories are forming as to the basis of the anomaly. One group of researchers holds that the reality that holds the space-time continuum of the Gael Serran together is unraveling; possibly through the intervention of the dread lord, Pharaoh Cet Ude D'ua Khan. Others state that the unraveling was due to considerable error and mismanagement on the part of the Creator of this universe. Yet others have postulated that this was all part of the design. "The empty places in the maps of the land are not holes in our collective knowledge, but just the way things were made by nature," Carg, one of the wizards, was quoted as saying. "The main proof is a photo of the serpent temple as seen from the treetops, while in a 'blank' area." Whether reality is unraveling by intervention, or just warped by natural design, no one can tell, but the implications are startling for denizens of the Gael Serran, to say the least. Cults are forming celebrating the "end of the world", mainly centered in the cities of the land. In yet another independent, yet related, occurrence, an adventurer, Balgin the Dwarf, was able to obtain a photo of a forest raptor which was charging his party of adventurers. The photo shows that the raptor's head is clearly hollow, with sky showing through the mouth. Yet another indication that reality as those in the Gael Serran know it is changing, if not coming to an end. Some, however, are not taking this that seriously. "Arr," said Talrik the pirate, on hearing of the strange photo, "I always knowed them beasties din't have a brain in thar haids! This just confirms it! You ever seed how they runs 'round and 'round fer nothin'?" So, the anomaly of the Gael Serran Reality: End of the World or just another day in this crazy world of ours? You decide! Stay tuned for further scientific updates from the Gael Serran Examiner, including examining the peculiar aerial mating habits of the Ancient Dragon. Remember: Minds that need examining want to KNOW! Many thanks to our photojournalists Carg and Balgin for their unique contributions to this issue. -Sazerac, Editor Quote:

Perhaps this is the forthcoming end of the Gael Serran as we know it, prophesied by the undead Werdna regarding the up and coming return of the universe of Wiz 8. Foreseen as well by those who claim to have seen The Dark Savant flying around in his spaceship.
