On the BG2 screen, while your playing, it is a button in the downest, right corner. It says turn off party AI, can anybody tell me what this means?

It is exactly what it says, it turns off the AI for the NPCs, meaning you have total control over every single action they make.
Essentially the NPCs become puppets, and you have to direct their every move. When it is on, it will execute the AI script you gave to them from the statistic screen. Go under customise to change their AI script. ------------------ If not a Sorcerer casting total oblivion, then a Cavalier meting out justice. Especially for Mages, ask a Mage to cast Time Stop, and he/she casts a Magic Missile instead. This is for the mage1 script. |

It depends, I scripted everyone well and only when I have my thief out in front looking for enemys or traps do I turn it off.
Nothing like your thief deciding to take on a whole room of something nasty by his/herself just because of the AI being turned on. |

I agree. I always turn it off because I find the 'Artificial Intelligence', well... lacking in 'intelligence'. And the scripts? Changing them just doesn't help either.
