I was wondering... if I install (or whetever the word is) a mod, would it affect the game, say, when I play in multiplayer with another person via the 'net? And can you, guys, tell me what are the advantages of a Skald? Thanks

If you want to play multiplayer, both of the players *must* have the same mods and patches installed.

Advantages of a Skald? Can't think of any lol

Most mods (such as all made by WeiDU) can be painlessly uninstalled. Some require uninstallation of the whole game, and they are better to avoid.

Stellar advice.

I prefer Skalds out of the whole lot of 'em. The Skald's song gives bonuses to the whole party. Their lore and pick pocket ability aren't affected (like the Jester and Blade), and makes a nice perk.

A common known fact is that blades pick pocket is not affected, don't know about jester but I believe Kevin Dorner said that the bard pickpocket problem was hardcoded and therefore would be a pain to solve (read: way too much scripting). This also effectst the only bard NPC. His pickpocket is incorect aswell ( among other things).

Off Topic: Kudos on getting the high score on the quiz Pirengle.
