My current party:
CG Elf Ranger Minsc Kivan Branwen Imoen Dynaheir I am currently clearing out the Cloakwood Mines and have encountered Yeslick. I am tempted to boot Branwen out of the party to make way for Yeslick. Question: should I? Branwen is complaining incessantly (party rep is at 20) and she's not to good a tank (although that's not her main function in the party). Yeslick is a fighter/priest, and gets more weapons proficiencies and a better THACO than Branwen. The only problem is that Branwen has reached level 7, whilst Yeslick is at level 4/5. Plus being multiclassed he will level up relatively slower. The other main issue is Branwen has access to level 4 priest spells, while Yeslick will need some time before he can cast priest spells at that level. Any thoughts on this?

it all depends if you have another healer in your party. If you have Jaheira or another priest that you have rolled on your own, then go ahead and take Yeslick. But if the choice between these 2 is who is going to be your primary healer id have to go with Branwen. The whining gets annoying but you can live with it. The first time i took Yeslick into my Party, everyone of my characters was maxed out before he reached the level you need to get cure serious wounds. But, i can tell you this, with a potion of storm giant strength combined with draw upon holy might i had yeslick attacking with 25 strength! So it's really up to you.

i think it also depends on whether you have already played a party with branwen in it. and if so, go for yeslick.
or maybe take them both and ditch either minsc or kivan since you're pc is already an archer. or flip a coin. |

I'd keep Branwen, though personality wise I prefer Yeslick. First, Yeslick levels up incredibly slowly...Branwen can get Cure Serious Wounds by the end of the game. Second, I've encountered some bugs with yeslick, so if you do choose him, SAVE first.
