Board seems to be getting slower and slower! Posting is starting to turn from pleasure into a chore.

Is it just a co-incidence, or could this be something to do with the upgrade?

Anyone using a modem please reply - so I can compare my experience with yours!

Thanks!!

It's not just your modem, it's the site. I'm on a T3 right now and it's slow as hell.

Yes, unfortunately, it seems to be not only your problem, Miss Silver Cheetah: ever since the upgrade (?) I have been experiencing the same problem with very long loading times here as well ... Just as you I have never been quite sure if the problem was really related to IW and not to my system ...

Poor Dan , I hope that the problem can be solved without too much extra hassle ...

Thanks guys, good to know it's not just me. I thought the evil British Telecom had put me on their 'heavy flatrate user' blacklist. (Americans stare blankly at the barbarity of British telecommunications companies. Flat rate access isn't quite sorted out here unfortunately....

Yes, I agree, I'm on a very fast DSL which the server is right on the corner, I can't understand why it would slow down though?

About 8 - 10 hours ago it was OK for me, now it is a real pain. So i think it is because number of users is tooo big , or network.

Well, SC, I'm on dial-up with BT and I have noticed some slowdown at certain times, but at others it seems as fast as ever

Therefore I have no real evidence either way...
