Well finally got everything set up so it seems to be working to play EfU. Still no idea what I'm doing, as I'm a total noob to online gaming of any kind. But the real question I have at the moment is this: if I have to kill the power to my computer (it won't BSOD, and there's no 'power reset'), will the server automatically log me out of Undermountain since the game is closed on my end? Or should I reboot, log in, and then log out of NWN properly?
I was afraid the Thinkpad wouldn't be able to cope, looks like the probable case. I'll give it another shot before I write it off as being undoable until I get a new computer. Which will be a feat, since despite the obvious benefits to my graphics programs (used mostly on behalf of my wife's business), it's going to be hard to swing "but I *need* it to play this game" with my spouse. But I digress. Anyway, the mod looks great, and I only got to see the ground floor of the Yawning Portal. Maybe I'll get a little further with next attempt.

If some one else is on then you character will stay where it is. If not the server will reset as it always does when empty.
