Now reading Foundation's Triumph (part of the 2nd Foundation Trilogy, written by David Brin, authorised by the estate of Isaac Asimov); can't really comment yet as I only started it this morning, will give an update once I've made some progress.

A couple years ago I read "Bias" by Bernard Goldberg, who talked about the liberal slant in the news media. I just started "What Liberal Media" by Eric Alterman, who's claiming there's actually a conservative slant to most news...

I'm currently reading "Narziss and Goldmund" by Herman Hesse. A beautifully told story, which was tough to connect with at first, but richly rewarding the more I persevered with it. Contains some of most poignantly written scenes of love and rapture that I've ever read.

Lord of Chaos was good but not quite so good as some of the others. I think Rand needs to take Taim out now rather than latter. He is not only dangerous but I don't think he can be trusted. Nice of him to come in at the last minute save the day and take all the glory.

Now reading Crown of Swords. I guess in this one Rand will redirect his attention to the white tower since he is most likely pissed at them capturing him and almost screwing everything up. Before going after any of the forsaken.
