Lots of people have commented on various LotR scenes, but no-one has commented on Boromir's final battle. That's, for me, the single greatest moment so far in the LotR trilogy... Especially in the extended version - the desperation in the frantic melee is almost tangible!

  • The scene in Memento when Lenny thinks he's chasing someone but he's actually the one being chased.
Lenny: [Running] Okay, what am I doing?
    [Sees Dodd also running]
    Lenny: I'm chasing this guy.
[Dodd has a gun, shoots at Leonard]
    Lenny: Nope. He's chasing me.

  • The swordfight in Equilibrium between Preston and Brandt. Short but sweet.</font>
  • Leon blowing himself and Stansfield up at the end of Leon.(The Professional) The look on Stansfield's face is priceless.</font>
  • The ending of Seven.</font>

-right after Ash chainsaws up his evil double in Army of Darkness when he tosses the bag with the body into the pit he was digging and the head rolls out and the camera pans a tight shot on it and says "you will never retieve the necronomicon, you will die in the grave yard before you get it." Then ash replies "hey you got something on your face". and the eyes of the evil double look up and then a soveload of dirt lands right on the head. it slays me every time

-fight with the balrog definitely

-the entire movie "the big lebowski" almost every line in that movie is classic

-neo fighting the agent smiths in matrix reloaded.

+ Scarface standing in his house bleeding all over with the Colt in his hand and madly shouting at everybody.
+ Connery lighting his cigarette in Dr.No to say "Bond, James Bond" for the VERY first time.
+ Gandhi's conversation with the viceroy in "Gandhi" - Do you just expect us to leave? Exactly. One hundred thousand Brithish soldiers cannot control 300 million Indians if the choose not to cooperate.
.
Some that just kicked my back in my movie seat in laughter were the moments in "Snatch" where all the storylines come together.
1. Boris standing on the street with the plastic bag on his head running around like a chicken suddenly getting hit by the car
2. everybody shouting at each other to drop the guns
AND from the hilarious "Last action Hero"
+ "Hello, anybody. I just shot a man. Intentionally."
+ "Is that cab bullet-proof?"

I am glad to see that Seven and Snatch both got a mention, both are excellent films.

That reminds me of the South Park episode with Towelie. The villains give their lenghty exposition and the kids constantly go: "Don't care, don't care, don't care. Dude we DON'T CARE."

An all-time classic movie! He had so many great one-liners in that movie I can't even pick a favorite.
