I am trying to install some mods but have no clue as to how. I downloaded a few the clicked on their icons on my desktop. It said something about extraction...? Now I have folders and a few other icons all over my desktop. Do I have to put these somewhere? Or what?

When you extract the files you need to extract them into your BG2 SOA directory. Once you do this you go to the directory and click on the setup X file. It will walk you through beginning with choosing a language and then will give you the option to install which part of the mod yuo desire. For example, Unfinished Business has I believe 29 components. You can select to install them all or to be asked about each one.
As for the order to install them I am not certain. All I know is the patch and fixpack need to be installed first and then your mods (I think non-weidu mods first and then weidu mods). Hope this helps. I just starting using mods and after a few problems along the way am now really enjoying them! |

installation order:
BG2 ToB Official ToB patch Baldurdash FixPack for ToB Baldurdash Gametext Update for ToB any non-WEIDU mods any WEIDU mods and there may be conflicts between certain mods, non-WEIDU and WEIDU. go thru the README files for all that you install, before you actually do the install to make sure there are no conflicts with the ones you choose. and then go have fun! V***V
