In real life, I am even more reasonable, sage and tolerant than I am here. Like Donut, I never lie and can be relied upon utterly. This is especially true if you ask me to look after any spare cash, bonds or negotiable instruments you may have lying about

Topic: Do you act different online to how you do in real life?

Nope.

I really prefer to study the people around me, figure out how they think and what kind of people they are. usually by the time im ready to converse, the people are gone. i think people also get a little disturbed when i study them and their friends, though i try to hide it by looking away...I cant say i like to talk about religion and stuff, when i do talk, its usually something sligthly intelligent, at least(like how much pie i ate last weekend or what my socks smelled like after gym class yesterday ). that second statement is, almost to a frightening degree, exactly like me. well, its nice to know there are others who think like me...

edit: oh yeah, almost forgot. yes, i suppose i am quite different when online then when im offline. Is that a good thing or not, you ask? who knows...
I only starting having an interest in Religions and Politics recently. Sometimes I'm bored and read some topic I would normally don't read. After a while of seeing other people debating those subject it got me interested.

This is a silly topic. Of course I act differently online! Why? Because I spend most of my online time RPing!

lol, seriously though, I wouldn't know. I don't care. However, one thing I will say is that I'm always honest online (most of the time), and the same goes for offline.

It's not all black and white. As you see many people feel themselves acting different on here. You don't have to be actively pretending to be someone you're not - it just happens due to the anonymity and different medium.
Actually, I don't really understand the anonymity logic. You know, like people say they would never argue as strenuously or be so abrupt with people in real life - but why? Basically, the way I see it is, I will never SEE face to face people I meet online - and that's pretty much the difference between casual acquaintances online and casual acquaintances offline. It's still people I'm interacting with, and I think no less of them because I can't see their faces and hear their voices than if I can. I totally think that you can't form really deep and meaningful and long-lasting relationships of the same intensity online if you never meet them offline, but the strength and importance of casual relationships offline seems no better than online. I have many people I know in real life who I don't know particularly well, but I don't wish for them to think poorly of me, or get to know a pretend me, or who I feel I can insult or attack or seduce because they don't run in my circle of friends and I won't come across them too often. I wouldn't come across a group of total strangers who I know I will never see again and no account of my actions will ever reach anyone I do know and act differently to myself, so why would I do it online?
