many a mantrap and elysia and shinwicki quest posting has rolled through this forum.

storm spells are best for these encounters and anything else you want to keep at bay. fire, meteor, and ice. the cowardly bombardment of all landbased foes makes all the cleaning up afterwards so much easier. it's excellent for gatherings as well, rooms full of uninvited guests can be easily put out, while you wait just the other side of a closed door. perhaps you haven't properly introduced yourself to the enemy and targeting won't produce tone... control click my friends. control click your troubles away. you might even get some rats and roaches as a bonus.

it is imprudent to call such airstrikes down upon yourself or the friendly NPCs; so use caution. save often.

now i think there is a thread lying around here somewhere about the moistened nasties, and what spells may work on them... i think i'll try and dredge it up.
