I finally had some time to start to read another book yesterday. I believe this book takes place right after IWD trilogy. I am about at chapter 10 and am for the most part enjoying the build-up. One thing I didn't like was the way the Wolfgar character has been developed after the IWD trilogy. What is his problem? When friends try to smash your skull in with a magical war hammer, who needs friends. He seemed to have matured some by the last book in IWD and now he is worse than ever. Maybe it is because I have not read the entire book yet but Wolfgar seems to act like a drunken buffoon most of the time.
