Firestormalpha, that's great about the new building! [img]smile.gif[/img] As for too much gaming at night,I hear you! It can be bad if you don't keep track of time and start missing things or skipping things in life, just to play or to catch up on sleep, though! Be careful. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Kat, let us know what job you end up with ...and Horatio's right in some ways...you do end up having to turn down social events and friends sometimes in order to go to work or get sleep or do your everyday stuff once work starts.

Well the votes are in, it would seem my young apprentice may not be right for the job. We were told she spoke little english, but understood it quite well. Umm... we have evidence to the contrary.

My former boss (Sally): Maria, come help with the coffee and donuts, please.
Maria: No that's ok I'm fine.
Sally: Maria, please come help with the coffee and donuts.
Maria: No thanks.

Very polite, but not enough english for the worker-employer relationship to function effectively. I think she either thought Sally was offering her some of the refreshments, or she is incredibly polite and insubordinate at the same time. The big problem is that not one person on staff speaks spanish very well. If at all. So she may need to find employment in a place where she can comunicate more effectively. I sincerely hope she finds employment, but it's not likely to work out with this particular establishment.

On the bright side of things, tomorrow one of my "particular" friends whom I've mentioned previously will be in attendence so I'm happy. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Bahhh! I've been working on Saturday's for the longest time! I just moved all of my social events to Sunday or sometime later in the week. Although I am a little cranky on the days when I have to get up the next morning at 6am and I stayed up late the night before.. Man, I miss college and only working one job for about 3 to 4 days a week! (Recently graduated in May)
