Hi! Can anyone explain to me why did Ronaldinho(my favorurite player) signed with Barca???
1-Barca will not play in Champion`s League next season AFAIK becuase only first 4(?) teams go into league and Barca is 8th IIRC 2-What went wrong with Manchester United`s transfer? |

Christian Chivu left ajax for AS Roma, there must have been a truckload of money involved, otherwise i can't understand why a player like him wants to play for a shitty club like that. I mean i can understand his choice to play in Italy, but Milan and Juve were also interrested, so why did he go to Roma ? Must be because they had the highest offer.

Money is not always the issue.
Take Harry Kewell for example. He was offered greater sums of money to go to other European clubs, but he decided to sign with Liverpool. He always wanted to play for Liverpool, since he was a kid and also stated that he liked the coach. Money is normally the major factor in sport transfers, but it's also the players personal preferences. (Hey that's almost a tongue twister ) Quote:

Sometimes players, especially if they have children, are reluctant to move abroad.
