Ok, I used the gamebanshee maps and got all the way through the Naga Temple east to free Valdane. According to the map, the only way I can get back to the west temple for the gas mask and the serpent sigil is passage A at door 11. I'ts locked and I can't find the lever to open it. Any suggestions?

You'll see that you can get back to the western portion of the temple via room 1

I did the fight with the major baddie here without the gas mask - lol!! Get the gas mask - that must make life a lot easier! :D

I think Wyvern's got the right answer for you. I found this dungeon a little tricky, since you have to line things up between the two map sections. Once you're past that, though, it's much easier.
