I'm playing the GotY on X-Box, and was wondering what a reasonable starting level to begin the expansions is. I realize you can begin Tribunal at Level 6, and Bloodmoon at any time, but where should you be realistically (to begin in earnest)? I'm currently a Level 19 Imperial, with a Long Blade skill of 100, and pretty strong armor (my AC is in the 70's).
Any info is appreciated. Regards, Michael [ 02-18-2004, 11:23 PM: Message edited by: RitingFool ] |

level 15 is good enough to start both.

I would say a wee bit more for Bloodmoon, as some things will horse you if you are too low level.

I have the PC version and my son has the X-Box version. Now I Have played them both all the way to the end of the main Quest but I wouldn't start the X-Box version of Blood Moon again until level 24. I buzzed the through the X-Box version and started BloodMoon at level 17 and died alot, But I did make it after a couple dozen tries.
I never played Blood Moon on PC until I was past level 81, It wasn't until then that BloodMoon came out so of course it was much easier. AT level 81 If you become a werewolf you do so much more damage then you do at level 18-20. [ 02-27-2004, 11:48 PM: Message edited by: TheCrimsomBlade ]

um, you can begin both quests on PC at any time you like after level 6, as the difficulty is adjusted for your level (ie-- badguys become tougher the tougher you are).
I hadnt died for a LONG time in the main game, then went to tribunal and got waisted by a couple of sewer goblin/troll thingies. I would recommend going at about level 9 or 10 and infiltrating the dark brotherhood base to kill their leaders, that way they don't sneak up on you when you rest anymore (but beware, you cant get/sell any more dark brotherhood armor after that point).
