I am starting a monk character (Quivering palm ) and I was wondering if there was a stronghold for the monk or if it has the same stronghold as the fighter, or if it has no stronghold at all.

The monk does get the same stronghold as the fighter, for some reason. (Modders take note: taking over the Copper Coronet's business as training grounds wouldn't be a bad idea for a stronghold, of sorts.)

That would be quite good. You'd just need to clear out all the whores.

Now why would we want to do a silly thing like that?

You'd need to clear them out of the training ground. Where they go after that is a different matter...

I hate whores, though. lol

Wouldn't be Slavers Ship a better place for monk's dojo?
It is big enough, it has enough of containers and CC could stay as it is.
(note: If CC would become monk's stronghold there would be no liquor allowed, and what is a tavern without a booze?)

The rings in the Coronet look more like a training ground. Little pits to spar in, and an elevated area to watch from.

Yep, true. But those pits have spikes on walls and big balcony for audience. I think that monks would suit far more better in a more secluded place. But that idea isn't bad for another class sharing fighter's stronghold - barbarian.

Imagine mighty barbarians, fighting their challengers in a spiked pit, while the mob is shouting and cheering for their champion. Besides, Hendak knows much more about pit fighing than about running an inn, therefore he would suit pefectly in a role of pit fight manager.
I remember when I heard Hendak the first time, in instant I thought of Schwartzi in movie Conan the Barbarian, that accent was nearly perfect.

Well in the ship you have a kitchen, library, the one pit where the trolls were with the kid could be a fighting ring. And the two cage rooms could have fighting equipment in it. Of course you will have to deal with the guards who come in to fill their quotas who don't realize the slavers are dead.
