A Time Saving Tactic or Too Much Cheese?

I found out a nifty trick with Shadow Keeper, now I really don't know if this is considered cheating or not so I'll just ask. When you load up your game into SK, add any items or don't do anything, as long as you save it with "001" implimented onto the side, reload it, it will have all of your characters regain their used spells and abilities (doesn't recharge item abilities though). Like I said, I don't know if this is cheating, but I thought it would be a good way to save some time in the game and you don't have to rest to get your spells back, sense your characters aren't even fatigued.

So, cheating, or cheese...?

The ShadowKeeper trick is all about a little option "Restore All Spells..." whatever in the Options Menu (or Preferences dialog... forgot where [img]smile.gif[/img] )

I always keep it disabled, for sometimes I need a minor tweak in my char, and I don't want his life to become easier...

This is definately cheating, as you are not using any ingame bug or anything like that. And I don't get it either, why NOT rest? The time spent actually has NO effect on the game unless you are doing a rare timed quest like that poisoned Renfeld thing.

OK, to summarise the topic: the method is not even cheese, bare cheating, but anyone has all the rights to use it - the only prosecutor in this case is his/her own morale

It would be considered cheating, given the fact that Shadow Keeper is an EDITOR! Besides, my computer lags when turning BG2 off, so it would be like 10 times faster just to rest. Besides I'm healed too.
