not content with throwing away half my life with a party i'm also playing a F/M/T solo at the moment - its very good and i've learned a bit:
some spoilers # # # # # # i've pretty much followed the plot to outside cloakwood mines - you can't go straight to the ankheg fields to get some 'easy experience' - any successful hit kills you dead - wait a little bit when you're relying on them you get to see the real power of arrows of biting the boss tent in the bandit camp really is pretty easy by the time you get there you can run away from wyverns ![]() casting mirror image and prot' from evil and then strapping on your armour and wading in is very effective - i'm looking forward to blur - does PfE stack i wonder? ![]() i now have the boots of speed and will be going on a lightning fast blitz of the south before heading back up to the plotline (don't want to leave anyone at my back!) whooooooooshhh . . . . . |

Ah yes Armen, I remember it well. I solo'ed Fighter/Mage and had so much fun fighting while protected by Mirror Image - it really is a great protection spell. Now I'm doing it all over again in IWD, but that allows me Elven Chainmail which makes things so much easier with regard to swopping armour. I also played BG1 a party of two Bards which had the same kind of Magic and Arrows combination that I like. If I recall correctly the weapon selection for F/M/T could mean a lot of juggling with the inventory, but later on there is that nice Axe if you want to use it. Keep up the good work.

![]() you're right though - only one weapon quick slot is a bit of a pain (its due to the M/T bit - losing the Fighter doesn't help) - just sailed through a couple of wilderness areas in the south - now where was that wand . . . ? |

thats the thing, wut they like to do is cast like 4 spells, and after that long if you have a plus 1 comp bow or something then u should get 4 or so hits in, which is usually enuff to almost kill them, and by that time they will hit u with a charm and u get a breather, and then it restarts, cuz they never run out of spells. it also helps if ure a fighter/mage/thief cuz u can summon some gay guys in front of you and she'll charm them, and if u summon something gay like gibberlings then the ones not charmed keep the ones that are busy while u pummel the single sirine. and sil is just to ez, u can land 3 nice arrow hits before she even talks to u, sry if thats cheap but it is effective.

I guess when I have more time again, I'm gonna play as F/M/T as well. But I'm gonna remove the exp cap, because I'm evil. Mwahahaha!

I got a dilemma: I just want to try a F/M/T single character, but I still have not finished the game with my 6 person party yet. I know if I start up a F/M/T now, I will either leave my current game or dump my new F/M/T after a while. Another dilemma is that I just want to try DSotSC. But I have heard that it is ridiculous difficult to do with a single character. I probably end up playing DSotSC with a party of 6 members. So many things to try - so little time to play ![]() Insane
