The incendary cloud is excellent for inflicting massive damage on large groups of opponents.

Individual- Magic Missles without a doubt. They aren't fancy, but they do the job, especially if sequenced.
Summoned- Fire Elementals. They rock. Group- I really like insect plague. If there are any enemy spellcasters it stops them real good, and even against fighters it keeps them pretty distracted for the level of spell it is. ------------------ "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." -General George Patton (1885-1945) |

Individual: I'd say magic missile, but it neither does enough damage, it can be resisted my magic resistance, and many enemeies are straight-up immune to it. I'd have to say melf's minute meteors. It does a lot of damage, has 5 attacks per round (10 with improved haste HAHAHAHHA) and negates all magic resistance, spell protections, or immunites that I've come accross yet. The ONLY downfall is that you're THAC0 has to be good enough to hit them, but with so many coming out so fast, the enemy usually gets pummled pretty damn good.
Group: Abi Dalzim's Horrid Wilting - no saving throw, a lot of damage Summon: Pit fiends add another ally, possilby more powerful than anyone you currently have... but being that it's a level 9 spell, it's not the best. I'd have to go with djinni/efreeti/or fire elementals. |

1) I'd say Chromatic Orb for a high-level caster - instant pop!
2) Firestorm/Abanazzer's horrid fart/Incendiary Cloud - one of these 3) whats the most kickass summoned elemental/monster? The biggest demon. Glabrezu I think. Howevre: a) you don't get xp for monsters it kills b) you DO get xp if you kill it after summoning it If it's one you control, then I'd say Greater Elementals summoned by a Druid |

Against one enemy: magic missile for most of the game but if your talking best of the best even if you have limited access to it then imprisonment.
Against group:Fireball if groups not in the way but if they are then abi-dalzims horrid wilting. Summoning:Mountain bears then when you reach level 15 summon skeleton. ------------------ Meet my lawyer. |

1) best offensive against one person: finger of death
2) best against group: easily horrid wilting can kill alot of weak ppl as soon as its cast. 3) Best Summon: I like my totemic druids spirit animals even tho they arnt that good. But the best would have to be the Gate summoning with pit fiends |
