If you could choose BG characters from all the Startreck series, which 6 would you choose? Who would be the leader? And what class would you say each of your choices represents? For example, Data = Mage; Worf = Fighter...

I'd choose that guy with the really smooth forhead which leads to a really smooth nose which leads to a really smooth chin! Dont know his name, im not a trekkie, but i think he wears a yellow top... he looks really smart, so he'd be my mage/cleric.... if he could cast magic... which he cant... BUT, if it was starwars! well!

Luke = Fighter (y du u think)
Darth = Fighter/Mage (cos he can fight AND choke ya from miles away)
Bobba Fett = Theif (hes a bounty hunter... DUH)
Yoda = Mage (mmm the force is strong with him)
Jabba = Cleric (he's big, fat, and wise)
Hans = Ranger (Because.... I said so)

Hmm, let's think about this.

Odo, DS9's Security Constable - a sworn, dedicated creature. An Inquisitor, I'd say.
Worf, Enterprise D's Tactical Officer - big, Klingon, dead hard. A Bezerker, perhaps?
Chakotay, Voyager's First Officer - the archetypal Druid. His beliefs in the shamanic ways of his people lend him spiritual powers.
Julian Bashir, DS9's rather camp doctor - a natural born Cleric, without a doubt.
Tom Paris, Voyager's navigator - the rogue, the criminal, the traitor - a Thief.

I'm a little stuck as to a Magestyle character, though! No spellcasters in the ST universe.

True. But if we consider that the Mage skills are based on intellect..? Then Data is definitely Mage material! And probably Picard, especially as Locutus..

Keeping the principle of high intellect = Mage:

Picard = Fighter/Mage
Worf = Fighter
Bashir = Cleric
Odo = Shapeshifter
Data = Mage
Quark = Thief

No women in there, though. Suggestions?

Haven't watched too much ST lately so I cannot remember most of the cast, but I would say from the Next Generation:

2nd in command (can't remember name ) Fighter
Worf: Berserker
Beverly Crusher: Cleric
Data: Mage (intellect)
Jordy: Cleric/Thief (high wisdom and dexterity as engineer )

ummm beau, wrong series. i dont watch star trek, so i cant answer this, but i just love correcting people!
