I can see people not bothering to get the Spectral Brand, but the scroll of Wish is definitely worth the gamble. As for the 3rd game, I always get the EXP and the DoMT by playing the 3rd game, and then calling Aesgareth out for cheating. Look at it this way: He's a compusive gambler, they're HIS cards, HE shuffled, HE cut the deck, and let's just look at his odds, shall we?
1st Draw: Aesgareth has 75% chance to win
2nd Draw: Aesgareth has 75% chance to win
3rd Draw: Aesgareth has 100% chance to win
Not to mention that should you happen to actually beat him in any draw, you suffer a semi-permanent curse, while the worst that the Cambion gets is a wimpy little Flamestrike. Something tells me that....Aesgareth isn't exactly "gambling" here.
