Well Imoen is still at the Asylum (I'm taking my paladin character from BgI to ToB and I only just reached Chapter III of BGII

I figured I need an extra mage cuz having 1 mage who is multiclassed doesn't cut it in my mind.

Maybe you could have tried sorcerers. I don't really lik single classed, pure mage or any types, but They seem to be "fun" classes according to people here and others in other forums or sites.

I would like another mage but Edwin is evil (and that wouldn't work with my paladin.) and Nalia is just like Imoen

are there any other mages that are NOT multi-classed? or should I just go with Haer-Dalis as support "mage" and Jan Janssen as first mage until I get Imoen?

thanks (if your interested my first choise would be Nalia but she's so alike to Imoen as I mentioned above. also I don't want Aerie since I think she's kinda whiney [nothing against her but after seeing her fight with Jaheira...yes I want Jaheira as a romance for my character [img]tongue.gif[/img] ])

Just a minor clarification.

Rangers get Druid spells, Paladins get Cleric spells.

that is correct

You could see he get's druid spells because he has the same spell selections choises as Jaheira.

he can even get the lightning spell at higher levels.
