IIRC, the Mace of Disruption +1 can be gotten the first time you go in the graveyard. In the Northwestern corner of the crypt, there is a pool of blood. I believe the mace was in there. I'd also like to knowk how do you get mace of disruption +2?

can u be more specific ? there are thousands of crypts in the graveyard district...Are you referring to the entrance to the undergroud dungeons?

Go to the temple that gives you the Unseeing Eye quest, and speak to all of the priests. One will give you a quest to get a statue made. The material used to make the statue is used to upgrade the mace. There is a way to do the quest and still get the material, just explore all the options in the quest, and you'll get 2 sets of the material. The good stuff is used for the mace, the not so good stuff can be used to finish the quest.

try to have at least one strong guy in the party as you'll have to carry around 200 pounds (400 if you get both at the same time)

You are most likely using a non-magical arrow/bolt/stone. Vampires are immune to damage from mundane weapondry (I think), solution->use magical weaponds and projectiles. You should have some.
Good luck.

A general thing I do is try to have one magical and one non magical weapon for each party member, and if they're using missile weapons, have non-magical and magical ammo - that way you have the magic stuff which is good, but for some things (it seems to me) you need non-magical - if I'm wrong about this, I'm sure someone will say

You need to finish the slaver's quest first. Then it will become available.
