When an enemy casts True Sight, the spell comes in effect every round or so. You can see that in the dialog box: Enemy - True Sight: enemy / Next round / Enemy - True Sight: enemy / Next round / Enemy - True Sight: enemy ....

But when I cast it, all illusions are dispelled, but when someone casts mislead then, i have to re-cast true sight for the illusion to be dispelled. Is this correct or not? I find it very annoying.

And also: did anyone ever find a good way of using the Wand of Wonder? Are there some high stats required? The thing is only good for selling IMO.

That's odd--True Sight should definitely dispel all enemy illusions once per round. Maybe you were just getting impatient for the next round to start?

The Wand of Wonder can do some pretty cool things--it can also cast Fireball or turn the target to stone. The only real use I could think of for using it is via giving it to my Mage, and have them repeatedly fire it at a party member with really high Magic Resistance, such as a Monk, a Wizard Slayer, or Viconia. If the effect is good, all's well. If it's bad, it'll probably be blocked.

Yeah I guess that must be it. I tend to lose oversight in those wicked all-out mage battles. Dont know what is what anymore

If I'm not mistaken, I think I saw the wand of Wonder boost my STR to 25 temporarily. It's far too random to be of any real use though, but it seems to sell for loads.

It sounds like your True Sight spell is behaving a little like the 5th level spell Oracle, which dispels the same illusions but is instantaneous rather than repeating every round. Are you still seeing the true sight text in the dialog window?

It does - the Wand is worth a grand sum of 15,000 gold!

Unrightfully so, if you ask me...

Only because when you get it, the WoW has 50 charges when it normally can only have 10 charges.

It happens only with mislead? This is a tricky spell - you can dispel it only by killing the clone (with weapons or divination). Are you saying that your spellcaster sees the clone, gets his True Sight for that round and that doesn't kill the clone?
If it isn't a bug, it is something misterious (although obvious) like "where is my SOTM wielding NPC who I just kicked out?"

No I dont! Ive set to autopause at the end of a round, but after the initial casting, the text never appears again. The icon is showing on my portrait though. I have the latest patch and balurdash installed, no ToB.

Messy....

BTW: I just owned the Elemental Lich so hard, it tried to b*tch-slap me to death when it finally ran out of spells. I didnt needed a timestop or a Spell Trap for him to tire himself. The AI truly sux in SoA. Cloak of mirroring, Staff of the Magi & Ring of Free Action are the best.

Are you sure that it's not being dispelled by the enemy. Best way to test it is to cast it without any enemies in sight. The spell should last for one turn which is one minute of real time. Within this turn there will be 10 rounds, so you should see the true seeing message 10 times.

Only other thing I can think of is that your spell is corrupt so I've extracted mine which I know works fine. Save this target to your BG2/override folder
