Anomen (yes, I'm sorry!) spoiler perhaps ?

I wonder if anyone can help me. It appears I have fallen for Anomen (honestly!) I have saved him from his sisters murderer and he has run of to 'think' somewhere....where can I find my 'love'Can I get him back? I've got Keldorn instead at the moment but he's incredibly boring.---- PS Why does everyone hate Anomen so much?

People tend not to like Anomen because of his pompas, arrogant attitude. That aside, he's an incredibly effective character that is a must for all good parties.

As for him running off I've not experienced that before. It's probably due to the romance.

You've made the right decision though, which will become aparent soon enough .

As for where to find him, I know it's contradictory to his nature but check his estate in the government district, also check the area where he left you. He may appear there after some thinking. Last guess, check the Order of the Radiant Heart in the Temple district.

Thanks for your advice- I'll try there again. I went back to all these places but he wasn't there... I'll go back again later after I've been to the underdark or whatever it's called. I seem to be doing everything in the wrong order... maybe that's what's wrong! It would be a shame to lose him now he's a knight, because he has become extremely useful in a number of ways (if you know what I mean?) ho ho

Anyway, aside from his voiceset which is unfortunately fixed and not easily changable( as in you need to fiddle around with the game code), Anomen actually undergos a transformation from having a mask of arrogance to that of a decently nice and respectful guy.

To bring out the best in Anomen, I recommend having Jan Jansen and Keldorn in the group. Make sure he passes his Knighthood test as well.

Anomen is a very special NPC.
He is veeeeery arrogant and patronizing.
However, he has, IMO, the most in depth personality in the game (the only other canidate is Jaheira. The reason BioWare decided that interesting equals annoying is beyond me... ).
He is the only NPC that actually changes his alignment (excluding ToB) according to the way you deal with his quest. Needless to say, having him in the party makes for a good roleplaying experience.
