I got this quest to go to Trademeet and help out with the animal attacks, so i went to the mayors house and he tells me i have to escort someone from the jail. The problem is I can't find the jail. Can anyone help me out?

The jail is below the Mayors house. I believe the stairway down is in the main room of his home against the wall NW. good luck

Oh, I was walking all around town looking for it when it is in his house. Man I must not of read to carefully or something.
